“• How was your valuation? Did you find advice given helpful/useful?
The valuation on the property was thorough, although considerably lower than a previous valuation we had done by a nationwide estate agent. However, with Perkins being a local estate agent it was evident they knew the local market better and we trusted their judgement when it came to pricing.
• Were you happy with our brochures, online adverts and/or the photography?
Extremely happy with all of the above. The brochures were of an excellent quality.
• Did you receive regular viewings/updates/contact from the sales team?
Viewings were initially a little sporadic/slow but we understand this may have been due to time of year. Feedback was always provided after viewings either via email or telephone.

Negotiator was 100% on the ball, gave great advice and negotiated more than what we had initially expected to receive for our first offer and eventually achieved full asking price for us. Towards completion the team worked tirelessly to ‘make things happen’ – being at the top of a chain of 6 and moving into temporary rented accommodation we didn’t have anything holding up our chain but there were lots of loose ends below us. “Whilst appreciating that valuing a house is never easy, I believe that as a result of Perkins George Mawer’s
local knowledge, and their experience of marketing similar properties in the area, a realistic valuation was possible.

The brochures initially presented were I felt, of good quality and represented the property well,
showing it at its best, without misleading anyone. Both the photographs and the written description were appropriate
and did a good job.

The sales team kept me updated with information about the upcoming viewings, which gave me an opportunity
to attend if I wished. They gave me feedback after a viewing, which I found helpful, in terms of being able to
keep the house and garden tidy and presentable for viewings; and also, the feedback enabled me to act on
comments made by the viewers.

I left the viewings and negotiations solely to the agent. I have no regrets about this as I was kept fully
informed all along the way; and I believed that I could offer input or an opinion if the agent felt it was

“Having asked several other estate agents to value my property prior to Perkins George Mawer, I found them by far the best. The team where the epitome of professionalism whilst all the while remaining friendly and down to earth. They understood my requirements fully and advised wisely unlike other who did not ‘talk down’ to me. They where an absolute delight to work with.
I was totally happy with our brochures, online advert and the photography, the complete package showed the property’s best features and the description did it complete justice. It’s a shame that the brochure could not have been larger but this was more than made up for on the websites.
